Award-winning hairdresser Stephen Foyle is the Creative Director for the Detail for Men hair team and has forged a career in the fashion world. With over 18 years of industry experience, Stephen has been trained in the Vidal Sassoon way of cutting. His work has exposed him to catwalk and editorial hairdressing where he has directed shows for Australian Fashion Week and New York Fashion Week.
Stephen styled the hair of many high profile personalities including Guy Pierce, Sam Worthington, Joel Edgerton, Richard Roxburgh, David Wenham, Xavier Samuel, Adam Goodes, Flume, James Magnussen, Hamish MacDonald, Birds of Tokyo, Will Anderson, Tim Freedman, Jimmy Barnes and Wayne Cooper. Female personalities included Kylie Minogue, Rachel Griffiths, Kim Cattrell, Delta Goodrem and Eva Herzigova.
Stephen is the leading hair stylist for GQ Magazine Australia, and drives the hair directions for each season’s latest looks. His skills are also featured in other fashion publications. Stephen is one of the elite few to win American Crew Face Off Competition twice. Stephen understands every man’s strengths and builds a haircut around this feature. Our team’s philosophy is not to follow trends but to customise the haircut for the individual, as this ensures the haircut is never out of fashion.
